It's Holiday!

Despite being in vacation, I barely went out from my home. I seriously need to take driving licence and get rid of the fear for driving. Since I really do not like to cook except for being really hungry, mom gave me a thick recipe book for me to study. And eventually drag me to the kitchen. I had to give up, and thanks to the new kitchen, I am slightly motivated to cook. While waiting for the beef to be cook properly, I played with my favorite psp game like a boss. Since it was first time for me to cook something that I never cooked before, I expect it would not turn out that good. But in the end, the plate was completely empty. Mom said it was very good but I still have a lot to learn. She is right. I hardly recognize the ingredients.

Other than that, I am helping mom with Biology book where I have to draw some stuff. I reallyneed to study more on design and illustration.

The Wall I have been Staring Everday

This is actually the board on my study table. I stick a lots of my own drawings and characters that inspire me. Yes, that is Gaara from Naruto animation. Nine years had passes and still his fan. I also stick artwork of my favorite character designer, Kazuki Yone. I could only upload a part of my study table. If I get any lower than what's in this image, you would only see jungle of books and papers piling. It's indeed a war zone. And that small Sanji figure keychain is a birthday gift from a friend. I love it so much. If you are reading this, thanks again!

Some Sketches and Marker Render

His haircut is awesome.
Tsukimori Len would be shocked if he could met his voice actor.

It's from my notebook which 90 percent of it consist of my drawings. Sorry for the bad capture image. I could not find a scanner. Anyway, can anyone recognize this three guys? I guess you could not unless you are a Seiyuu [Japanese voice actor] fan. I tried to draw Taniyama Kishou, Kamiya Hiroshi and Mamoru Miyano. Did I just fail at drawing them? If I did, sorry about that.

This two girls are.. randomly pop out from the tip of my pencil. I'm just kidding. I love to draw long wavy hair. And one piece dress. I just do. I wonder why?

If you are from Malaysia, you would probably recognize this guy. That's right. I draw a caricature of Mawi as Badang in filem Magika. I am not used to drawing caricature so I am lack of confidence whether I could draw it properly or not. Piling below the caricature of Mawi is my other marker rendered artwork. I'll be posting some more in the future. Please look forward for it~

My Favorite Character Designer, Kazuki Yone

This is....Saitou~ kun.
My favorite character designer is Kazuki Yone. She is working for Idea Factory company and create artworks for many otome game, a game that are targeted for female market. Some example of game that she has been involve with is Hiiro no Kakera and the most famous is Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan. Hakuouki will be release in English in February 2012. Above picture is one of the characters in the game, Saitou Hajime whom are voiced by Toriumi Kousuke.

this picture was scanned and edited by the
respective people listed at the bottom of
the picture
Above picture is another artwork by her. It is from the same game, Hakuouki Shinsengumi Kitan. His name is Hijikata Toshizou, voiced by Miki Shinichiro. I love how Kazuki Yone draw his long hair. He still look manly despite having that long silky hair. unless I am blind.

Playing with Wacom Graphic Tablet at Comic Fiesta

just another Tsundere boy
Instead of stalking Cosplayers, I decided to stop at graphic tablet booth and use their Wacom to create this at Comic Fiesta 2011. I still remember while drawing this, there is another girl sitting next to me and using another Mac to do some digital illustration too. She is pretty good at it. While drawing this, I feel like it was a competition to see which one is better at drawing. The judges? Strangers behind both of us which were rapidly taking our picture. Since this is first time I used Sai paint tool, I am not really used to it. But I have to admit it was fun. So I was considering the idea of selling my Genius graphic tablet and buy Wacom.

My Marker Illustration

This is one of my artwork. I am still struggling and learning how to do digital illustration. So, for the mean time, I'll just bear with marker render. I am currently using marker Prismacolor. The color is quite easy to blend in. I have to admit that first time trying to color using marker, I am very terrible at it. I have no idea at all how to control the color. But after training some more, I have slight idea on how to control it. I'm still learning to improve it!

Tsundere's Definition

Some of you might be wondering what on earth is ' Tsundere' which I pick as my blog's title. It's actually a Japanese term that often occurs in games, manga [Japanese comic] and anime [Japanese animation]. Well, according to Wikipedia, Tsundere comes from term 'Tsun Tsun' which mean to turn away in disgust and ' Dere Dere'  which mean to become sweet and lovey dovey. In other words, a Tsundere person is the one that act all cold and harsh to you at first but gradually shows that cute and kind side sometime.

Introducing, Tsundere Tsukimori Len from anime and game called Kin'iro no Corda. He is very well known for being tsundere and being extremely cold to the heroin, Hino Kahoko at first. But the fans believe he's just being shy and his ego is blocking that dere dere side of him.

But back to the topic, why did I pick Tsundere Art as the title? You saw the blog's header? That's one of my artwork. I love to design characters and the characters that I design mostly are being Tsundere. They just refuse to smile. Maybe I should show more of that dere dere side.

I am a Graphic Designer and chocolate is my Enemy.

Not that being a Graphic Designer has anything to do with hating chocolate. Maybe I am born to hate it. Meet my enemy, The Chocolate Bar.

Keep this AWAY from me. The smell is killing me.

Greetings to all. My name is Wardah, a graphic design students in Malaysia. I used to abandon this blog and now I am going to revive it once again. This is my second blog. My first blog is game related blog and here I will talk more about myself, characters design and also maybe I'll post some Japanese language lesson that I've learn. Feel free to visit this blog.
